BRADENTON, FL, Nov. 17, 2011 — MobileView™, a leader in mobile surveillance systems for public transportation applications, is the first and only mobile surveillance solution to receive Qualified Anti-Terrorism Technology (QATT) designation under the Department of Homeland Security’s (DHS) Support Anti-terrorism by Fostering Effective Technologies Act of 2002 (SAFETY Act). The SAFETY Act encourages the development and deployment of new and innovative anti-terrorism products and services by providing liability protections. MobileView technology leverages digital video recorders, cameras, audio microphones, and a variety of other ancillary devices to capture high quality video and data on and around public transit vehicles, such as buses, paratransit vans, and light rail and commuter rail vehicles.
